Refund policy

RETURN, REFUND AND CANCELLATION POLICY

Montevik is currently in a pre-launch phase. This policy is intended to provide transparent information for future sales and may be updated before full commercial launch.

1. Right of cancellation
If and when goods are offered for sale to consumers through this website, consumers generally have a statutory right to cancel their purchase within 14 days from the day on which they, or a third party named by them who is not the carrier, take possession of the goods.

2. How to exercise the cancellation right
To exercise your right of cancellation, you must inform us of your decision to cancel the contract by means of a clear statement (for example by email or post).

You may use the model cancellation form below, but this is not mandatory.

3. Effects of cancellation
If you cancel a contract, we will reimburse all payments received from you, including standard delivery costs, without undue delay and no later than 14 days from the day on which we receive notice of your cancellation.
We may withhold reimbursement until we have received the returned goods back or until you have supplied evidence of having sent back the goods, whichever is earlier.

Reimbursement will be made using the same means of payment that you used for the original transaction, unless expressly agreed otherwise.

4. Return of goods
You must send back the goods without undue delay and, in any event, no later than 14 days from the day on which you informed us of the cancellation.

The deadline is met if you send back the goods before the period of 14 days has expired.

5. Return shipping costs
Montevik bears the direct cost of returning the goods.

6. Condition of returned goods
You are only liable for any diminished value of the goods if this loss in value is due to handling beyond what is necessary to establish the nature, characteristics, and functioning of the goods.

7. Non-returnable items
The statutory right of cancellation may not apply to goods that are made to the consumer’s specifications, clearly personalized, sealed goods not suitable for return for health or hygiene reasons once unsealed, or other items excluded by law.
